Our Story

Magnolia & Mint was born from resilience, passion, and a deep love for Southern style.

Nine years ago, I was an Assistant Vice President for Alumni Relations, preparing for my doctoral program with dreams of becoming a college president — and expecting my fourth son. Then, near the end of my pregnancy, I was diagnosed with chronic intractable hemiplegic migraines. In an instant, the career I had built and the future I had planned changed completely.

But somewhere in the middle of the hard days, Magnolia & Mint found me.

As a mom of four boys, let’s just say my house is full of mud, sports, and very little pink. This boutique is my girly avenue — the place where I get to celebrate femininity, beauty, and style in a home that is otherwise gloriously, chaotically male.

Growing up in the Navy, the South captured my heart — the hospitality, the charm, the unapologetic femininity, and yes, the bigger the hair the better. That spirit never left me. Every piece in our collection is chosen with intention — for the woman who is classy but never boring, feminine but always strong, and who knows that looking good is a form of self-care.
